Dustin and Jennifer Stempki of Engadine are enjoying the arrival of their first child, Caleb James Stempki, born at 2:58 a.m. Saturday, September 5, 2009, at Marquette General Hospital. He weighed 7 pounds, 9.4 ounces at birth and measured 18.25 inches in length.

Grandparents are Frank and Lana Stempki of St. Ignace and John and Lynn Lindroth of Manistique. Great-grandparents are Lawrence and Jean Kivisto of Manistique.

Alexia Reed

Brian and Heather (nee Frazier) Reed of Plymouth announce the birth of their daughter, Alexia Louise Reed, born Wednesday, August 26, 2009, at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor. She weighed 7 pounds, 9 ounces at birth and measured 19 inches in length.

She is the couple’s first child.

Grandparents are Mary and Dale Streichert of Cedarville and Maggie and Don Reed of Plymouth. Great-grandparents are Fred and Mary Frazier of Moran and Edward and Grace Streichert of Merrill.
