The City of Mackinac Island has received an offer to swap its Rowe Condominium unit for a home in Harrisonville, said Mayor Margaret Doud during a Finance Committee meeting Wednesday, September 23. The committee agreed to make no recommendation to City Council until it receives more information from city appraiser Joe Stakoe. The committee also agreed it needs more time to consider the matter.

The offer was made by Margaret McIntire for a corner lot with a twobedroom, one-bath home on Cadotte and 5th Street.
