The Upper Peninsula Association of American Legion Posts, which comprise the 11th and 12th districts in the Upper Peninsula, will meet for a fall conference at Reino American Legion Post 21 in Stambaugh Saturday, October 10.

The Sons of the American Legion and the American Legion Auxiliary will also meet at Stambaugh.

American Legion Elects Executive Committee Members

The American Legion has selected its executive committee. They include Louis Eberle of Engadine American Legion Post 290, David Spencer of Pickford Legion Post 323, James Farera of Pickford Legion, Jack Koivisto of Crystal Falls American Legion Post 87, Gary Lane of Stambaugh American Legion Post 21.

Mr. Oberle was also appointed to the membership committee. Stan Kennedy of Pickford Legion Post 323 and Lawrence Sagataw of Hannahville Post 116 were appointed to the Americanism and community service committees.
