Arena Ready for Hockey Season


Pat VanSloten, crew leader for the workers from Kinross Correctional Facility, pitches in Friday, October 2, painting one of the red face-off circles onto the ice at Little Bear East Arena. After several coats of water and white paint are applied, the lines and logos are added. Crews covered all this with about 3/4-inch of water before youngsters took to the ice for the first hockey practice Monday, October 5.
