• An obituary for Hazel Decker printed in the October 1 issue of The St. Ignace News should have noted that Mrs. Decker was preceded in death by her parents, Millard Smith in 1962, Edna Smith in 1979; siblings Margery Deanna Smith in 1940, Roger Smith in 2000, and Martha Smith in 2006. In addition to the family members listed as survivors, she is also survived by a former brother-in-law, Edsel Blair.

• In an article published in The St. Ignace News September 24 about the Owosso Tractor Parts Tractor Show, a photograph caption on page 12 referred to Ed Socolovitch as the grand marshal of the parade. Mr. Socolovitch was grand marshal last year, and Chum Oswald was grand marshal for 2009.

• The ship identified as the Olive L. Moore in the caption under the front page photograph in the October 1 issue of The St. Ignace News was actually the Lewis J. Kuber.
