Leitz Sports Center in Sault Ste. Marie was broken into Saturday, September 26. A large number of Sig Sauer, Springfield, Kimber, and Desert Eagle hand guns, ammunition magazines, and laser sights valued at almost $8,000 were stolen. These hand guns pose a risk to the public, now being in the hands of unknown criminals, city police said.

Anyone with information may call Crime Stoppers at (800) 465- 7867. Callers may remain anonymous and tips leading to an arrest could earn a $1,000 reward.
