The Hiawatha Shore-to-Shore Chapter of the North Country Trail will host a hike Saturday, October 10, at 10 a.m. at Soldier Lake Campground in Raco. The hike is open to everyone.

Participants should bring water, a snack, and a light lunch. The hikes are of varying lengths with easy to light moderate terrain. Camping is available.

Members will be performing trail maintenance Friday, October 9, through Monday, October 12. Volunteers are welcome.

The chapter will also have its monthly meeting Thursday, October 15, at 6:30 p.m. at Pure Country Restaurant in Rudyard. New members are welcome.
