Shelly Brow
Shelly Brow, 40, of Lakefield Township, died unexpectedly Wednesday, September 30, 2009, at Marquette General Hospital in Marquette.
She was born July 7, 1969, in Newberry to Charles “Jack” and Ethel (nee Lewis) Fox.
Mrs. Brow was a lifelong area resident and attended Tah - quamenon Area Schools.
She enjoyed canning vegetables, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, computer games, and all kinds of card games, but was passionate about spending time with her family and extended family.
Mrs. Brow and her husband were foster parents who provided their home to many children and young adults throughout the years.
She is survived by her husband, Brad, whom she married October 23, 1993, in Engadine; her children, Kasey Brow, Brittany Brow, Justin Brow, Courtney Brow, Richard M. Brow, and Barbra Marsh, all of Newberry, and Brett Blakely stationed in Georgia with the U.S. Army. Also surviving are her twin sister and her family, Shelia and John Caswell, Barbara Kleeman, Nichol Galen, and her brother, Patrick Bridges, all of Newberry, and a brother, Harvey Bridges, of Escanaba.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jack, who died September 16, 2007, her mother, Ethel, who died September 19, 2009, and her niece, Heather Caswell.
The family will gather at St. Gregory’s Catholic Church in Newberry Thursday, October 8, from 11 a.m. until the time of services. A memorial service will be held at noon at St. Gregory’s Catholic Church with the Rev - erend Saundra Clark officiating.
Beaulieu Funeral Home in Newberry is assisting the family with arrangements.
