Big Buck Contest Benefits March of Dimes
Deer hunters can enter a big buck contest and benefit the March of Dimes at the same time by registering with Bob Holmes at Farmers Insurance in St. Ignace, Randy Anderson with Farmers Insurance in Sault Ste. Marie, or Sherry Gaudette with Farmers Insurance in Cheboygan.
An entry free of $10 must be paid at least five days prior to the date punched on the kill tag. The deer must be tagged with a Michigan Department of Natural Resources deer license tag. All entry fees paid with go toward the purchase of a prize, with the remainder to be donated to the March of Dimes. Deer harvested during archery, firearm, and muzzleloader seasons may be entered in the contest.
The prize winner will receive free taxidermy for their trophy deer.
