Painting of Ojibwe Musuem Nears Completion

Prison workers from Kinross continue work on the siding of the Museum of Ojibwe Culture in St. Ignace Wednesday, September 30, under the supervision of crew leader Ron Suchey. This year, the workers have scraped and sanded off the old paint, installed a new deck and walkway in the front, replaced some of the rotten wood siding, and repainted most of the exterior of the museum. The crew was expected to complete painting on the north side by Monday, October 5, and plans to finish the rear of the building either this fall or next spring.
