Tracy Ann (nee Rosebohm) Johnson, 41, of Pickford, died unexpectedly Saturday, October 10, 2009, at Marquette General Hospital in Marquette.
She was born March 27, 1968, in Petoskey.
She grew up in Harbor Springs, Rudyard, and Pickford and was graduated from Pickford High School in 1986.
Mrs. Johnson was a health care giver who had a healing hand and did all she could to put a smile on the face of anyone she was caring for, said her family. For several years, she worked as a caregiver at Rivers Edge and Bakerside Adult Foster Care Homes. For 15 years she worked as a phlebotomist in the lab at War Memorial Hospital. This past year she had been a clinical lab assistant at the hospital.
She married Marc Sidney Johnson May 18, 2002, and they have a five-year-old daughter, Sydney Rane.
Mrs. Johnson was a member of St. Matthias Episcopal Church in Pickford. She was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed attending races with many of her friends. She also enjoyed camping, snowmobiling, hunting, and other outdoor activities with her family.
In addition to her husband and daughter, she leaves her father and stepmother, Joseph and Judy Krawczyk of Petoskey; three brothers and their families, Daniel and Terri Rosebohm of Sault Ste. Marie, Gary and Kathryn Stoneburner of Georgetown, Texas, and Kevin and Christy Krawczyk of Walden, New York; a sister and her family, Christina and Buck Anthony of Petoskey; a sister-in-law and her family, Laurel and Jeff Topolski Johnson of Sterling Heights; her husband’s parents, Lawrence and Shelva Johnson of Sault Ste. Marie; her husband’s grandmother, Mildred Warren of Pickford; nieces and nephews Krystal Rosebohm, Cody Rosebohm, Miranda Stoneburner, Tayte Topolski, and Jessica Topolski, and friend, Renee Printz, of Rochester Hills.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Arthur and Eva Rosebohm and Mildred Rosebohm, and her stepfathers, Gary Stoneburner and Albert Stoneburner.
Services will be Saturday, October 17, at Reamer Galer Funeral Home in Pickford with visitation from noon to 4 p.m. and a memorial service at 4 p.m.
Interment in Fairview Cemetery in Pickford Township will follow the service.
Memorial contributions in Mrs. Johnson’s memory may be directed to the family for a college fund for her daughter, which she started when she was born.
