Wildwood Mennonite Church Venture Club members and United Methodist All Stars members will collect canned goods in the Engadine area to benefit the West Mackinac Pantry Wednesday, October 28, from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The 19th Annual Newberry Christmas Craft Show and Bazaar will be Saturday, November 7, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the basement of the Newberry Community Building (McMillan Township Hall, two blocks north of Tahquamenon Area Schools on Main Street). Table rental is available by calling (906) 293-5621.

The cancer support group in Newberry meets the second and fourth Wednesday of each month from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Webber and Dever offices in the basement of the Pathways building in Newberry.

Condolences to the family of Einar Strom of Engadine, who passed away Thursday, October 8. Mr. Strom’s obituary was published October 15 in The St. Ignace News.
