St. Ignace Kiwanis Club will host a whitefish dinner to aid the school’s fund drive for new band uniforms Thursday, October 22, from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the LaSalle High School cafeteria. Dinner will be served by club members, assisted by band students.

Adult meals cost $7 and meals for children 12 and younger cost $4.

Proceeds will benefit St. Ignace Area Schools band progam and the Kiwanis Club.

The school band is growing in number and is seeking used musical instruments to be donated, loaned, or purchased by the band. Those who may have an instrument available are asked to contact band director Jason Byma at 643- 8200 for more information.
