Jamie Lynn Olson and Zachary St. John of St. Ignace announce the birth of their daughter, Larkin Oliviya St. John, born Monday, September 21, 2009, at Cheboygan Memorial Hospital in Cheboygan. She weighed 9 pounds, 2 ounces at birth and measured 20 inches in length.

She joins a brother, Kameron, 2, at home.

Grandparents are Cindy Mattfield and Terry Olson of Grand Marais, Minnesota, and Carl and Susan St. John of Herron. Greatgrandparents are Donald Olson of Grand Marais, Minnesota, and Violet St. John of Herron.

James and Anna Hamel of Lansing announce the birth of their son, Caden James Hamel, born Thursday, September 24, 2009. He weighed 8 pounds at birth and measured 21 inches in length.
