The Webers Land Two Salmon in Brevort Lake


Gloria and Rick Weber of Brevort Lake hold up two salmon they caught while fishing in Moran Bay with Jimmie Miller on his boat, The Lucky Two, Thursday, August 27. The Webers traded the excursion for freshly picked blueberries. Mr. Weber's salmon weighs in at 12 pounds and is 23 inches long. With Mr. Weber's help, Mrs. Weber landed a 21-pounder that was 35 inches long. She wore her father's hat, which brought her luck, she said.
