The Erickson Center for the Arts in Curtis will host "An Evening with Jeff Daniels" Thursday, December 10, at 8 p.m.

Mr. Daniels is a well-known actor and an accomplished sin - ger/songwriter. He grew up in Chelsea and has performed in numerous film and in stage productions on and off Broadway. He has founded a nonprofit theater company, The Purple Rose Theater Company. Locally, he has performed a number of times on Mackinac Island.

Ticket price for the Curtis performance is $45. Tickets are now on sale in Curtis at the Erickson Center, Curtis Service, and Cham berlin's Ole Forest Inn, Mary's Garden in Engadine, Anchor Inn at Naubinway, and the Old Bank Collection of Shops in Newberry.
