Cedarville outgained the host Bark River-Harris Broncos, but four turnovers hurt the Trojans offense during a 6-0 Mid-Eastern Football League setback Friday, October 23.

"I was pleased with our overall play, especially our defense, but the turnovers hurt our chances on offense," said Trojans Coach Scott Barr.

The Broncos scored the only touchdown with 1:39 left in the first half, while the Trojans’ final scoring opportunity ended at the Bark River-Harris 20- yard line late in the fourth quarter. The Cedarville defense held the Broncos to 67 total yards.

The Pickford Panthers held a 6-0 lead during the middle of the first quarter before the host North Dic - kinson Nor dics scored five unanswered touchdowns en route to a 50- 12 Mid-Eastern Football League win Friday, October 23.

Charlie Halsey scored from three yards out at 7:31 of the first quarter for a 6-0 lead, but the Nordics, champions in the MEFL, scored two touchdowns in the first quarter, one in the second, and two in the third for a 34-6 advantage.

Halsey scored his second touchdown for Pickford on an eight-yard run before North Dickinson closed out the scoring with two fourth quarter touchdowns.

Weather Bowl Rescheduled

For Saturday, October 31

The 28th annual Weather Bowl football contest between the Enga - dine Eagles and Brimley Bays has been rescheduled for Saturday, October 31, at 1 p.m. at Frank Sal - zeider Memorial Field in Engadine. The final home game is the traditional parents’ night game for the Eagles.
