Allers Is Employed at U.S. Customs, Immigration Office

Rachelle Allers of Belleville, formerly of Mackinaw City, was graduated from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Academy at Glynco, Georgia, August 12, where she trained for 16 weeks.
Miss Allers is the daughter of Captain Paul and Betsy Allers of Mackinaw City and Sabrina Allers, also of Mackinaw City. She has two brothers and their families, Preston and Janet Allers of St. Ignace and Patrick and Cindy Allers of Portage, and one sister and her family, Penny and Jason Shiers of Ashville, Ohio.
She is a 2002 graduate of Mackinaw City High School and was graduated from Lake Superior State University in 2005.
Miss Allers worked for Arnold Transit in security during her high school and college years and spent a year working for Transportation Security Administration at Metro Airport in Detroit.
She is now stationed at the U.S. Customs and Immigration office in Detroit.
