The Friends of the Pickford Community Library are collecting books for a book sale to benefit the development of a community library in Pickford. The group is also collecting new and used audio books, DVDs, VHS tapes, games (with all pieces), and puzzles (with all pieces) to be sold later this month at the Pickford Methodist Church. The Library Friends are not accepting donations of magazines or encyclopedias for the sale.

Donations may be dropped off at Pickford Elementary School, Pickford Methodist Church, Pickford Presbyterian Church, Pickford Nazarene Church, the home of Larry and Shelby Hagen at 471 M- 129 in Pickford, and Fernelius Hyundai in Sault Ste. Marie.

All materials collected will be sold to benefit a library development fund Friday, November 13, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday, November 14, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church.
