United Way Hosts Luncheon Tuesday in St. Ignace

People will have an opportunity to learn more about the United Way campaign at a soup and sandwich lunch in St. Ignace Tuesday, November 10, at noon at the Community Action Agency. United Way staff will also be available to provide information at the Community Action building on Reagon Street from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.

United Way of the Eastern Upper Peninsula staff and Mackinac County Advisory Committee members will be in St. Ignace to meet with individuals, businesses, and organizations.

Those interested in attending the lunch are asked to contact the United Way at (906) 632-3700. Reservations are required. After the meal is served, a 15-minute program about United Way will be given.

Some United Way agencies that provide services in the St. Ignace area will also have representatives available at the lunch to answer questions. Community Action’s Meals on Wheels program is one of United Way’s funded programs, and will host the group and provide the meal.
