Senior Phillip Hood set a school record, scoring six touchdowns, and passed for two scores during the Engadine Eagles 53-0 home Mid-Eastern Football League win over the Brimley Bays in the Weather Bowl, Saturday, October 31. The Eagles finished the season with two victories, improving their record to 4-5.

Hood rushed for three touchdowns in the first quarter on runs of 57, six, and five yards, and completed a three-yard scoring pass to Jeff Dishaw. Michael Klobucher kicked one extra point and Kyle Franklin added one two-point conversion for a 27-0 advantage.

Engadine increased the lead to 47-0 at halftime as Hood scored from 15 and five yards out and completed a 13-yard scoring pass and twopoint conversion completion to Klobucher.

Kenny Oven Engadine The Eagles completed their scoring in the second half, played with a running clock owing to a 35- point lead, on a Hood 28-yard scoring run in the third quarter.

In his three-year career, Hood rushed for 2,852 yards and scored 33 touchdowns, passed for 1,612 yards and 20 touchdowns, had 235 receiving yards and three touchdowns, three defensive touchdowns, and three return scores, for a total of 62 career touchdowns.
