Engadine Library Will Honor Bill and Sandy Roach This Thursday

The Engadine Library is having a reception for Bill and Sandy Roach Thursday, November 12, at 7 p.m. to express appreciation for a paper recycling project. Mr. Roach has been collecting paper and taking it to the Manistique Paper Mill for recycling for several years. The mill donates the recycling proceeds to the Engadine Library.

The library has received an average of two donations a month from this project, which has enabled the library to operate Saturday hours and purchase books.

Mr. and Mrs. Roach have gathered paper from businesses and people in Naubinway, Engadine, and Gould City. Mr. Roach is now passing the project on to others, and Bob Nelson, Lester Livermore Sr., Del Kovar, and Bill Wagner are continuing the work.
