Rebecca and Thomas Yakesh (Photograph by Angie Meyers) Rebecca Thibault and Thomas Yakesh of Bloomer were united in marriage Saturday, September 19, 2009, at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Bloomer with Father James Arthur officiating.

Parents of the couple are Gerald and Helen Thibault of St. Ignace and Tom and Julie Yakesh of Bloomer.

Alexa Thibault served as maid of honor and Margaret Fierstine was matron of honor. They were accompanied by bridesmaids Allison Rogers, Becca Yakesh, and Holly Brown. Flower girl was Isabelle Thibault.

Best man was Joe Yakesh, accompanied by groomsmen Cliff Geissler, Nate Flemming, Doug Thibault, and Ed Wynimko. Ring bearer was Lincoln Thibault. Ushers were Lance Thibault and Preston Friedeck.

A reception was held at Schrecks Place.

The couple are planning a wedding trip after Christmas.

They reside in Colfax.
