Engadine Students of the Week
David Paquin, Brooke Livermore, and Eric Richards were named Students of the Week for the week of November 9 at Engadine Consolidated Schools.
Senior David Paquin was chosen for consistently arriving to class prepared to work and striving to do his best on all assignments. Mr. Paquin is considerate, polite, and always willing to help others succeed, his teachers said, and he has a good sense of humor and is respected by both students and teachers. In his spare time, he enjoys team sports, spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, and other outdoor pursuits.
The junior high Student of the Week is Brooke Livermore, an eighth grade student. Miss Livermore has high academic standards and is an accomplished clarinetist in the Junior High Band, as well as a great athlete. She leads by example and sets the bar high for her classmates, her teachers report.
Eric Richards was selected as the elementary student of the week. Mr. Richards is in third grade. He is a good mathematics student, and is always helping others. He is willing to work hard and has made good progress this year. When he grows up he would like to be a farmer. He loves reading about anything related to John Deere. He admires his father, he said, because he plays with him. He likes mathematics class the best.
Mike Sawyer and Allison Grant were named Students of the Week for the week of November 16 at Engadine Consolidated Schools.
Junior Mike Sawyer works hard and brings a great attitude to class, his teachers report, along with all of his stories. In his free time, he enjoys playing football, hunting, fishing, and riding his dirt bike. His teachers have enjoyed seeing his maturity, hard work, and enthusiasm this year.
Allison Grant lives in Engadine with her parents, Wayne and Mildred, and her younger brother, Charlie. Miss Grant is a friendly student who is polite and respectful to her classmates. She works hard, always does her best in class, and is helpful, teachers say. She takes her work seriously, but knows how to enjoy herself, as well. She is making great progress in school this year.
