The social season is upon us. Trinity Lutheran Church’s annual progressive dinner will be Saturday, December 12, at various homes. The Red Hat Society will meet Thursday, December 3, at 6 p.m. at Rosalie Robinson’s home in St. Ignace.
Tracy Movalson and I attended the Christmas event at Everson’s Home Furnishings in St. Ignace Saturday, November 21, where we spoke with three sisters, Jane Weiss, Donna Savard, and Brenda Spencley, along with their mother, Clarann Lambert.
Susie Nesberg is home from Munson Medical Center in Traverse City after a successful medical procedure and a good prognosis. Mary Carney is home from the same hospital and has an excellent report. Joanie Spencer is doing well and is getting out once a week. Candy Humphrey, Jessie Humphrey, and Matt Humphrey have all been visiting Mark and Joan.
Dan and Penny Mulligan are spending a few weeks at their vacation home in Brevort. Dan and Penny are from Redondo Beach, California.
Tom Coffey made a trip from Owosso this past weekend.
Joyce Gustafson and Dottie Glashaw have been going to many craft shows in the area. Last week the show was in Gould City; this week, they drove to Sault Ste. Marie.

While hunting last week, Charlie Movalson saw that the snowshoe hares have turned white already.
Jack and Thora Shepard have a golden-doodle named Beamer Maximillion. We will have new neighbors soon, and rumor has it that they have four Labrador Retrievers.
Eric, Kelli, Amanda, and Zach Movalson, along with Hershey, Snickers, and Butterscotch, have arrived at the beach house for the Thanksgiving holiday. The grandchildren dug out the bicycles promptly. We appreciate the mild weather, but the hunters would like tracking snow.
Have a happy Thanksgiving with family and friends.
