BOARD OF TRUSTEES Motion: Carpenter made the motion REGULAR MEETING Thursday, November 19, 2009

7:00 PM

Call to Order and Pledge of Allegiance: 7:00 PM

Roll Call: Present – Hill, Carpenter, Wellnitz, Miller, Lofdahl

Motion: Miller made the motion to approve the agenda with changes. Lofdahl supported. All Ayes. Motion carried.

Consent Agenda: Minutes: 10-14-09, 10-15-09, 11-04- 09, 11-05-09 General Fund Bills: 6309.86 Sewer Fund Bills: 756.63 2010 Ensign Nationals Service Contract to approve the Consent Agenda with the changes moving Old Business #6 to the Consent Agenda. Lofdahl supported. All Ayes. Motion carried.

Motion: Miller made the motion to go ahead and purchase the 1 ton Ford truck from Mackinac Sales in the amount of $26,975.00 being charged to the General Fund. Wellnitz supported. Motion carried.

Motion: Lofdahl made the motion to make an out of block amendment to increase the budget of 101-265-951 in the vehicle replacement line. Carpenter supported. Roll Call: Motion carried.

Motion: Carpenter made the motion that we do not accept the generous offer from Green Energy Solutions for the Wind Spire at the Hessel Marina. Lofdahl supported. All Ayes. Motion carried.

Motion: Lofdahl made the motion to table this situation again with the new idea of a water system and future placement of the Wind Spire at an appropriate place. All Ayes. Motion carried. Motion: Lofdahl made the motion to accept the bid from Sherlund Excavating at $80.00 per hour with the loader and $90.00 per hour using the plow truck. Carpenter supported. Roll Call: Yes – Miller, Lofdahl, Hill, Wellnitz, Carpenter. Motion carried.

Motion: Carpenter made the motion to make Supervisor Hill the voting member with additional membesr being Clerk Miller and Treasurer Carpenter. Lofdahl supported. All Ayes. Motion carried. Motion: Miller made the motion to purchase signs from Lickety Split Graphics as they are a local business. Wellnitz supported. Motion carried.

Motion: Lofdahl made the motion to set the Regular Board Meetings to 6:00 PM for December through March and 7:00 PM for April through November. Wellnitz supported. Roll Call: Yes – Wellnitz, Hill, Lofdahl No – Carpenter and Miller. Motion carried.

Motion: Miller made the motion to adjourn the meeting. Wellnitz supported. All Ayes. Motion carried.
