Christmas Tree Auction Will Aid Rudyard Library Through Dec. 11
The Friends of the Rudyard Public Library will hold a Christmas tree silent action Monday, November 30, through Friday, December 11, during regular library hours.
Ten Christmas trees donated by Jan Besteman and decorated by various staff members and community members are on display for viewing at the library. Voting is done by putting pennies in the jar next to a favorite tree. Bidding will close at 5 p.m. December 11.
Proceeds will be used to buy new library materials.
During the Christmas holiday, the library will be closed Thursday, December 24, and Friday, December 25, and Thursday, December 31, and Friday, January 1. The library will be open Saturday, December 26, from noon to 3 p.m.; Monday, December 28, through Wednesday, December 30, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday, January 2, from noon to 3 p.m.
