• The “deer camp chili dinner” announced in the November 26 issue of The St. Ignace News incorrectly stated the dinner is to be at Les Cheneaux Community Schools in Cedarville. The dinner is Friday, December 4, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Rudyard High School cafeteria. A scrimmage between the varsity and junior varsity teams will follow the fundraiser. Cost of the dinner is by donation.

• In an article titled "County Jail Will Get New Carpet" in the November 26 issue of The St. Ignace News, it was reported Everson's Home Furnishings of St. Ignace and Newberry made a bid of $4,158. Everson's did not make that bid. Quality Installations made the $4,158 bid, and would purchase the carpet through Everson's Furnishings if the bid had been approved.
