The Sault Naturalists meeting Tuesday, December 8, will feature a program by nature photographer Kirk Zufelt and voting for three winners of the club’s Nature Photography Contest. The meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. at Central United Methodist Church in Sault Ste. Marie. The meeting is open to the public.

In addition to the display of contest entries and selection of winners, Dr. Zufelt will present a program about the artistic and technical aspects of bird and nature photography.He has traveled widely while photographing more than 400 species of birds around North America. His photographs have been published in Birding and North American Birds and have appeared as covers on Michigan Birds, Natural History, and the Forestry Chronicle.
