St. Ignace Team Skates Away With ‘Bridge Brawl’ Victory

Pee Wee hockey players from the St. Ignace West US-2 Shell team hoist the 2009 "Bridge Brawl" trophy after winning the eight-game weekend tournament in St. Ignace the weekend of Friday, November 6, through Sunday, November 8. The tournament, which brings visiting teams to town and also features local youth teams, is part of a larger "Battle at the Bridge" tournament series. Squirt and Bantam divisions will host similar tournaments in December, and the Mites will hold a tournament in March.
