Les Cheneaux Community Celebrates Christmas
Children sing Christmas carols at the Les Cheneaux community christmas party in Cedarville Sunday, December 6. Along with cookies, candy, and other treats, children were given free toys and some adults received turkeys during a raffle taking place throughout the party.
Amy Sprague of Cedarville receives a helping of pancakes and sausage from Bill Kish (left) and Chuck Denoyer of the Les Cheneaux Lions Club during the Cedar Cove Assisted Living breakfast with Santa. Mrs. Sprague brought her son, Drew, along, and he received a wind-up robot from Santa Saturday, December 5.

Midway through the party, children received a visit from Santa Claus, who also had small gifts to give.
Sadie Nye of Cedarville places a bid during the Les Cheneaux Historical Museum's Christmas tree silent auction Saturday, December 5. Many of the trees are decorated with an array of handmade ornaments. The annual auction is a fundraiser for the museum.
