Toy Drive, Pantry Collect Kewadin Christmas Donations

Toy Deadline Is Friday

Christmas donations were distributed to local charity agencies Friday, December 11, by Kewadin Casinos, which served as a charity collection site this year. St. Ignace Hope Chest and Food Pantry and Mackinac County Toy Drive received food and toy donations from the collection effort in addition to a $250 cash donation from Kewadin Casino to each agency. More Christmas donations are still needed for needy children and families. Mackinac County Toy Drive will accept donations until Friday, December 18, and organizer Wendy Colegrove said more needy families are added to the list daily.
