The following dispositions are from 92nd District Court in St. Ignace December 15 and December 16, Judge Beth Gibson presiding. Arresting agencies are in parentheses. The court does not distinguish between jail time to be served immediately and jail sentences that are suspended.
• Marvin Gravelle Jr., 28, of Sault Ste. Marie, pled guilty to driving while licenses suspended, and was assessed a fine of $260 or 30 days in jail. (Michigan State Police)
• Darrin LaPine, 44, of Brimley, pled no contest to disorderly person, and was sentenced to 50 days in jail. (Mackinac County Sheriff)
• Stephen Grogan, 50, of St. Ignace, pleaded guilty to operating while intoxicated, and was sentenced to 70 days in jail. (Michigan State Police)
• Brandon Warner, 18, of Cedarville, waived preliminary examination and was bound over to Circuit Court on one count assault with a dangerous weapon. (Michigan State Police)
• May Swinson, 44, of Engadine, pled no contest to false report of a misdemeanor, and was assessed a fine of $250, 93 days in jail, and six months probation. (Michigan State Police)
• Michael Emrich, 31, of Kincheloe, pled guilty to careless driving and no insurance, and was assessed a fine of $500 or 30 days in jail. (Michigan State Police)
• Gary McGuire, 23, of St. Ignace, pleaded guilty to domestic violence, second offense, and was assessed a fine of $500, 365 days in jail, and 18 months probation. (St. Ignace City Police)
• Stacey Dekeyser, 37, of St. Ignace, was sentenced to two days in jail for probation violation.
• Alton Osborne, 79, of Curtis, waived preliminary examination and was bound over to Circuit Court on one count weapons/ firearms/possession by felon; and one count assault with a dangerous weapon. (Mackinac County Sheriff)
• George Wood, 34, of Sault Ste. Marie, pleaded guilty to aggravated assault, and was assessed a fine of $500, 365 days in jail, and 12 months probation. (Michigan State Police)
• Francis Thompson, 41, of Pickford, pleaded guilty to aggravated assault, and was assessed a fine of $500, 365 days in jail, and 12 months probation. (Michigan State Police)
