Jeffrey and Meghan Rogers
Meghan Lindsay Reinacher and Jeffrey Alan Rogers of Grand Rapids were united in marriage Saturday, June 20, 2009, at the Dimnent Memorial Chapel on the campus of Hope College in Holland, Michigan. Dr. James Samra of the Calvary Church officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Scott and Laurie Reinacher, and Brian and Laurel Crawford, all of Howell, and was given away in marriage by her father, Scott Reinacher.
The groom is the son of Jack and Joan Rogers of Grand Rapids.
Music was provided by the Signature String Quartet, soloist Jennifer Roggenbaum, and organist Jane VanHof.
The bride wore a white silk gown adorned with Swarovski crystals, while the bridesmaids wore navy blue silk tea-length dresses and carried bouquets of hot pink peonies.
The bride’s sister, Bethany Mock, was the matron of honor and was accompanied by bridesmaids Brianna Crawford, Annie Hansen, Sarah Odette, Jennifer Riker, Jennifer Slenk, and Sarah Starr. Flower girl was Elizabeth Slenk, a niece of the groom.
The groom’s father, Jack Rogers, served as best man and Brady Mock was the ring bearer. Groomsmen were Aaron Pike, Robert Schantz, Andrew Schut, James Scott, Benjamin Slenk, and Daniel VanderWoude. Junior groomsman was Christian Slenk and ushers were Severin Erickson, Brian Haskin, and Sergei Reinacher.
A reception followed at the Maas Center at Hope College.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Michigan State University and is employed as a sixth grade teacher at Valleywood Middle School in Kentwood.
The groom is a 1991 graduate of Calvin College, and is employed as area development manager for Michigan with Prison Fellowship Ministries of Washington, D.C.
The couple are involved in the Calvary Church, Rotary Club, and the Antique and Classic Boat Society. The Rogers family enjoys a summer cottage in Les Cheneaux.
The couple took a wedding trip to New England, touring the Adirondack Mountains, Maine, Connecticut, and Rhode Island. They reside in Grand Rapids.
