Dane Christiansen Air Force Airman Dane Christiansen of St. Ignace has been graduated from basic training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.

He is the son of Mary and Stevan Christiansen of St. Ignace, and a 2009 graduate of LaSalle High School.

Airman Christiansen completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. He earned four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
