Anglers can enter a fishing contest to benefit the Marches of Dimes by registering with Bob Holmes at Farmers Insurance in St. Ignace. The contest began January 1 and continues through November 1.

There are three entries: master angler, pro angler, and rookie. Master anglers can enter multiple fish with a $15 entry fee. Pro anglers can enter up to three fish with a $10 entry fee, and rookie anglers pay $5 for entering one fish. Anyone entered as a rookie or pro angler may re-enter as a master angler with an additional $15 fee.
