Austin St. Louis St. Ignace Austin St. Louis of St. Ignace received all-state football honors as a defensive back by the Detroit Free Press Sunday, December 6.

The junior defensive back led the Saints with 137 tackles. He had three fumble recoveries and three pass interceptions, and returned one interception for a touchdown.

St. Louis earned Defensive Player of the Year Award in the Straits Area Football League and was named to the All-Class Dream Team in Class A-B-C in the Upper Peninsula.

On the offensive side of the football, St. Louis totaled 1,378 yards, including 579 rushing yards with 11 touchdowns, and caught 48 passes for 799 yards and 10 touchdowns.
