Four players scored in double figures for Coach Matt Bathey, but the Brimley Bays dropped a 70-67 non-conference home decision to the Posen Vikings Saturday, January 2.

The Bays, 1-4 on the season, held a 26-25 scoring edge after the first eight minutes before the Vikings sent the game into halftime tied a 40 with a 15-14 offensive margin in the second quarter.

In the deciding third quarter, Posen outscored Brimley 18-15 for a 58-55 lead. Both teams scored 12 points in the final eight minutes.
