Engadine Consolidated Schools
Michael Klobucher and Abigail Miller have been named Students of the Week at Engadine Consolidated Schools for the week of January 11.
Michael Klobucher is recognized this week for his commitment to his goals. Mr. Klobucher has set many academic goals for himself this year and his working his way though Advance Placement Chemistry online, calculus via interactive television, and five other courses.
Outside of the classroom, he enjoys playing his drum set and has received many honors over the years.
As president of the senior class, he has taken on a role of leadership and is working with Student Council this year to improve the school environment. Students look to him for his quiet leadership during school and in sports, his teachers report.
He participated in football, is currently playing basketball, and plans to participate in track this spring.
He plans to attend Michigan Technological University in the fall. He is the son of Michael and Rae Marie Klobucher of Engadine.
Abigail Miller, the junior high student of the week, is a hard worker, always striving to maintain better than average grades, and working to excel at everything she does. Miss Miller is a model student for her peers and shows respectful behavior to teachers and peers, her teachers say. She is an outstanding beginning trumpet player.
She is the daughter of Diane and Jonathon Miller of Engadine.
