Oliver Olmstead David and Mary (nee McCarty) Olmstead of Aurora, Illinois, announce the birth of their son, Oliver Colin Olmstead, born Thursday, November 26, 2009, at Rush Copley Hospital in Aurora.

He weighed 8 pounds, 2 ounces at birth and measured 20 inches in length.

Grandparents are Don and Zoe Olmstead of St. Ignace and Richard and Pat McCarty of Rudyard. Great-grandmothers are Virginia Olmstead of St. Ignace and Frances McCarty of Oscoda.
