The community of St. Ignace and the LaSalle High School Athletic Department will recognize five local fire departments for their collaborative effort in battling the fire that occurred in St. Ignace Wednesday, January 6.

Fire chiefs representing departments from St. Ignace (John Robinson), Mackinaw City (Fred Thompson), Mackinac Island (Dennis Bradley), Brevort Township (Mark Peterson), and Clark Township (Chet Kasper) will be recognized at LaSalle High School Friday, February 5, between the Saints junior varsity and varsity girls basketball games.
