The annual Soup’s On contest at St. Ignace Area Schools will be Friday, January 29, prior to the Courtwarming game against Rudyard, in the LaSalle High School cafeteria. The school yearbook fundraiser will begin at 4:30 p.m.

Local businesses will compete to see who has the best soup by gaining votes from participants. Businesses entering food in the contest are Kewadin Casino, Truck Stop, Village Inn, Bentley’s B-n-L Cafe, The Pines, Fred’s Pub, Timmie Lee’s Pub, BC Pizza, Chee Peng, Big Boy, Mackinac Grille, and the Driftwood.

The cost of the meal is $5 for adults and $3 for children 10 years of age and younger.
