Pickford Library Seeks Students for Youth Board
Students will gain learning opportunities as well as leadership skills, organizers say, work in a group environment, and have the chance to voice ideas to improve the library. Applicants must write a 100- to 200-word essay on “What I Want to See in the Pickford Community Library.” A letter of recommendation from someone other than a relative is also required. Essays and letters can be submitted by email to kslater@bmcc.edu or mailed to Friends of the Pickford Community Library, Attn: Library Youth Board, P.O. Box 272, Pickford, MI 49774. Submissions must be received by Monday, February 15. |
