Bulldogs Defeat Trojans; Jeffreys Scores 30 Points

Senior Emily Jeffreys scored 30 points to lead the Rudyard Bulldogs to a 72-61 road non-conference win over the Cedarville Trojans Tuesday, January 26.
Rudyard held a two-point lead going into the fourth quarter, but the Bulldogs outscored the Cedarville Trojans 26-17 en route to the win.
The Bulldogs led 14-10 after the first eight minutes and the Trojans improved their game to establish a 21-19 scoring edge in the second quarter to cut the Rudyard lead to 33-31 at halftime.
Both teams scored 13 points in the third quarter before Rudyard turned the game around with a nine-point advantage in the final eight minutes to ice the win.
Four players scored in double figures for Coach Mike Jarvie, a key for the Bulldogs.
