Scoring 1,000 career points doesn't happen on a regular basis. Having two players from the same school reach the mark in the same season is very unusual.

The duo has played at the varsity level for four years.

Jeffreys has totaled 1,145 points and her career high is 36.

Hesselink has recorded 1,047 points with a personal high of 30 points. Both athletes reached the 1,000 point milestone during the 2009-2010 season.

Deanna (nee Sutton) Kreski of St. Ignace is the all-time high scorer for Rudyard with 1,436 points and Laurie VanSloten reached the 1,000 plateau for the girls program at Rudyard. The boys all-time career high is 1,181 points, held by David Steikar.
