Saints Girls Win, Boys Fall During Home Bowling Matches The St. Ignace Saints girls bowling team defeated the Grayling Vikings, but the boys lost a tough match to the Alpena Wildcats during Northern Michigan Bowling Association Conference home match at Gateway Lanes Saturday, January 30. Girls: Saints 1202/Vikings 933. Individual scores: Michaela Cope, 158-113; Kelsey Putnam, 152-102; Shantell Anderson, 141- 137; Hailey St. Andrew, 110; Erica Rickley, 104; Sandi Thon, 97, Lynette Colegrove, 90. Boys: Saints 1290/Wildcats 1321. Individual scores: Aaron Salvador, 196-98; Joe Snowaert, 137-138; Raleigh Harrington, 105- 151; Cyleb Feldman, 133-94; Zach Major, 142; Austin Downey, 96. The Saints are off until Saturday, February 13, with a road match at Alpena. Saints Bowlers To Host Bowl-A-Thon Sunday, February 7 The LaSalle High School Saints bowling teams will host a Bowl-AThon from noon to 4 p.m. at Gateway Lanes Sunday, February 7. Events during the day will include a silent auction, bake sale, 50/50 raffle, and bowling for $2 per game. A whitefish basket will be available for $8.50.
