Second Half Difference in Lakers Setback

The Mackinac Island Lakers boys were outscored 30-21 in the second half that led to a 61-53 Northern Lights League setback to the Grand Marais Polar Bears Friday, January 29.

Anthony Rickley Mackinac Island The Lakers led 16-14 after the first eight minutes and still maintained a 32- 31 scoring edge at halftime after the Polar Bears held a 17-16 margin in the second quarter.

The second half was the downfall for Mackinac Island as Grand Marais outscored the Lakers by nine points to post the win.
