Second Quarter Key To Raiders Win Over HLC

Darci Wilson DeTour The DeTour Raiders trailed after the first eight minutes, but held an 11-point advantage in the second quarter en route to a 53-43 road non-conference win over the Harbor Light Christian (HLC) Swordsmen Monday, January 25.

The Swordsmen held a 13-12- scoring edge after the opening period before the Raiders outscored HLC 15-4 in the second quarter for a 27-17-halftime lead.

The teams traded one-point margins in the second half, with DeTour holding a 14-13 margin in the third quarter and HLC a 13-12 edge in the final eight minutes.
