People and organizations from the Eastern Upper Peninsula were recognized with awards totaling $8,000 in Old Mission Bank’s Community Spirit and Community Pride Award program.

Awards were made in January to the following organizations: $2,500 to help establish the Pickford Community Library; $1,500 to Community Action Walk for Warmth, for assisting citizens with utility costs; $1,000 to the Pickford Community Wellspring Endowment Fund.
