MSU Extension Offers E-commerce Workshop for U.P. Rural Businesses

The workshop “Strategies for Michigan’s Upper Peninsula Rural Businesses Using e-Commerce and Experiential Models” will be offered Wednesday, March 10, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the St. Ignace Public Library. Registration is $10.

The workshop will provide the rural Upper Peninsula business owners with tools to implement programs that will assist in developing strategies to successfully compete in a global economy and expand their business market.

Iron County Michigan State University Extension office is providing the workshop across the 15 Upper Peninsula counties through a mini-grant awarded from Southern Rural Development Center and the 2008 National e-Commerce Extension Initiative Program.
